Workshop: "Games as tools in promoting an effective learning environment in Pre-Primary CLIL classrooms” - Aristotle University of Thessaloniki
At the invitation of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki the Cyprus CLIL Coordinating Center presented a workshop titled "Games as tools in promoting an effective learning environment in Pre-Primary CLIL classrooms" on May 14, 2022, in Thessaloniki.The workshop was part of the EAN conference “Introducing English in pre-primary education: The EAN Project” - a project of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
The workshop was also included in the thematic workshops of ISTAL 25 - "25th International Symposium on Theoretical and Applied Linguistics" which took place at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki from 13 to 15 May 2022.
The workshop aimed to explore the idea of games as a successful tool to promote effective learning in Pre-Primary CLIL classrooms.
Participants had the opportunity to become familiar with the current theory on the importance of games in Pre-Primary education and explore a variety of interactive games that are being used in Pre-Primary CLIL classrooms.
